Utah Appreciation Week #1: Kennecott Copper Mine and Copperton Park

John and I have been feeling lately like we don't appreciate Utah the way we probably should. We are always complaining and wishing we were somewhere else...cause the grass is always greener on the other side, right?

So we have taken it upon ourselves to find all the interesting and exciting things that Utah has to offer, and go and see them all as if we are tourists. Since that's what we do whenever we travel to another state!

This week we went the to Kennecott Copper Mine and the Copperton Park. It's easy to hit both places since the town of Copperton is just below the mine and a few blocks north.

We thought Jack would like seeing the "Monster Trucks," as he called them...

But he LOVED IT!

Copperton Park

This particular park is really fun for the kids because there are tons of different things to play on from the playgrounds and swings, to gigantic tires and tunnels!

  2. You know, that's a good idea. We complain, too. I think we'll follow suit.
