Museum, Dance, and California

Lily so proud of the fort that she built on her field trip to the Children's Museum.

Jack and Lily gazing in awe at a model of a Blue Whale heart at the
Halle Heart Museum in Tempe.

Lily in her happy place. We love that she loves ballet so much. :)

Lacy is SO animated. She makes all kinds of faces when people look at her !

We had such a fun time visiting Kyler and Whitney in California for the weekend.

Last but not least, a fun little video of Miss Lace.
(If you're on a mobile device it may not show up).

Real Life

Going back to normal life after a two month long vacation was more of an adjustment that I had anticipated. The good news is, we've finally adjusted after more than a month of being back! Jack started school at a brand new charter school that was just built here in Surprise over the summer. We LOVE it. The charter was actually been ranked the number one school district in Arizona, so it was a huge blessing that we got it in. Jack just started soccer and piano lessons this week and Lily starts ballet next week, so life is busy, but we're loving it. Here are a few pictures of more happenings from the past month!

About a week after we got back from vacation, Lily went from being terrified of sticking her face in the water, to full on swimming on her own! She loves pulling Lace around the pool with her!

New "mom" cut for this lady. :)

Anniversary date!
John planned the restaurant and I planned the activity. Totally unplanned,
we ended up with a rock themed date. We're obviously meant to be.

(I totally kicked this wall's butt, just in case you were wondering).  ;)

TOP OF THE ROCK
I highly recommend trying this place, the food and atmosphere are both incredible.

Last Thursday night the boys went to a Diamondbacks game.
Mom's been feeling a bit under the weather for the past month, so we just
grabbed some fro yo and did a movie and nails girl's night at home. :)

The kids always love playing Legos with dad.
I was super impressed with the Yo, Gabba Gabba characters they built this time!

Lace Face.

Lily and Lacy having a blast together at the Phoenix Children's Museum.

Last but not least, a movie of Lily doing some sort of an interpretive dance.
She's been begging all summer long to start ballet. We're excited for her to start next week.
