Happy Halloween!

We're so excited Lacy arrived in time to celebrate Halloween with us!!

She was our little Jack-o-lantern this year.

Jack and Lily went as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

Dad took the kids out trick-or-treating while mom and Lacy held down
the fort and handed out candy! We got lots of funny questions from the kids like
"is that a real baby or a prop?"

Dad carved a jack-o-lantern with the kids after school on halloween!
Jack and Lily were very fascinated with the pumpkin guts.

Jack has taken an interest in decorating our house for the holidays.
He put up some Halloween decorations and he's already started on Thanksgiving!

October 28, Lacy's Running Late!

We're so grateful for the safe arrival of our little Lacy Violet Sperry!
She took the longest in the oven of the three kids, which we weren't expecting,
but we're sure glad she's finally here with us!!

Lacy Violet Sperry
7 lbs 11 oz  &  19 inches long
She came quick! Labor was just 5 hours and three quick pushes!

Everyone says she looks like her brother Jack, and I think we agree. :)

Lacy had the hiccups a lot while she was in the womb.
She gets them even more now that she's out!

Meeting Jack and Lily and their cousins for the first time!!

Jack asked us while we were at the hospital if this was real or if it was a dream.
He's such a sweet big brother, he loves his little sisters!

Coming home!!!

She feels right and home!
And we're sure glad. :)

Fall Fun

Well this is probably the last blog post before we have
another person who will be in all of our photos! We can't wait wait!

So Jack has been really interested in math lately. He made a worksheet for himself and answered
all of the math problems (they don't even do these in school so I don't know how he
figured out how to make these equations. We'll have to work on that equals sign :)

I definitely had to include these adorable pictures of Lily and her on again, off again boyfriend, Dax.

We did a little pre-halloween trick or treating at Midwestern with the Lundquists.
Jack and Lily loved getting to wear their costumes for the first time!

Jack just finished soccer! He made five goals this season!
But even more impressive than that was his incredible
improvement in dribbling and overall ball handling skills.

Jack and Lily with tiny babies. :)

All ready for the ward Trunk-or-Treat night!

Mom and dad even joined in! Dad went as Captain Hook and mom went as Smee.

Fall is Finally Here

I love fall. It's my favorite time of year. I love the changing leaves...which we obviously don't get here, so we've been trying in lots of other ways to get into the festive fall spirit. It started with the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies which I can't seem to stop making and the kids have been enjoying making all kinds of fall crafts. It's been fun being able to go outside more now that the weather has cooled off. Here are some of the things we've been up to!

Lily just finished up her soccer skills class.
She did finally warm up to the idea of soccer and did really well !

Jack received the Hawk award at school.
It's an all around good character award given to one student from each class !

This handsome guy lost TWO teeth about three days apart !

Kami threw a baby shower for Miss Lacy (who is coming so soon) !

Lily went to the fire station with her preschool class ! The tour was a blast, and at the end the firemen got a call and we got to watch the fire truck take off with the lights and sirens !

Dad has still been having fun with his facial hair.

Having fun with Dax before his SUPER LONG trip to Texas ;)

Lily and Dax at the AZ Science Center.

Lily has loved having her big brother home for fall break. For one of our family outings we went to Montezuma's Castle. It's just up north about an hour and a half. It was a really fascinating site, even for the kids !

Mr. Jack set a personal record of three goals in one game. He figured out how the dribble around people, just like dribbling around the cones in practice. I love it when we see things click with these kiddos, it's so much fun watching them learn and grow.

The weather has been cooling off so much it's forced Lily to pull out her winter stuff.
Crazy Arizona kid. :)

Mom has been enjoying dressing the kids up in their October threads. :)

Lily is loving preschool. We did pumpkin reports this last week and it was so much fun.
