Happy 4th Birthday, Jack!

This little guy just turned four! How time flies....
We sure love you, Jack!

We celebrated Jack's birthday with his cousin Emma since their birthdays are 1 year, and 1 day apart (to the minute actually)!!

We had a fun little pool party with the cousins, and the next day on Jack's actual birthday he got to open all of his presents!

Pool party cupcakes!

SUPER EXCITED.

Lily enjoying Emma's new presents...

My family had a little party for Jack before we left, and here's Jack excited to get a replacement baseball bat.

Jack got a new Razor scooter from Grandpa and he totally rides it like a pro.
So we decided that it's time to take the training wheels off this kids bike since he
has the whole balance thing down!

THANKS to everyone for the presents and for helping Jack feel loved on his birthday!!!

The New Crib

We had the inspection monday, so I took the opportunity to head over to the house to do some measuring and take some pictures to post. (A few of these pictures are from the actual listing). John also took some video clips of the bedrooms. So here's our new house! Its four bedrooms and 3300 sq ft.

(Still trying to figure out what to do with this thing :)

Utah Pictures

Goodbye,
Utah.

We will miss our cozy little home in West Jordan.

Thank you to all of our special friends and family who helped make Utah a home for the few years that we were there. We love you and we will miss you!

Riding in the moving truck.

It's hard to say goodbye.
But I do think this will be a good growing experience for our family.
And we are all excited to start this new chapter of our lives here in AZ.

Utah Showers Make for Jack's Happy Hour

This little guy just had the time of his life in that last rainstorm. In fact when he came inside the house and I asked him what he thought of all this rain, he said, "I thought it was a waterpark!"

I'm starting to wonder if Seattle would have been more of Jack's cup of tea! We'll just have to take advantage of monsoon season down south!

Soaking wet and no shoes....
At least it was warm, right?

The Fourth

Our fourth of July was just packed full of fun! In fact, we woke up at about 7:50 am and realized, oh year, there's a breakfast at the church!!! And free meals are always nice surprises. ;)  Then we headed over to the West Jordan parade with Grandma where the kids loaded up on candy. But we still thought the kids could use more sugar, so we stopped and got a shaved ice with ice cream at the bottom (cause we were dying hot). Then we had a bbq with Grandpa and did fireworks at his house.

Everyday for a week before the fourth, Jack asked if it was the 4th of July because he knew when it was then he could light off these bad boys. :)

I think we were more entertained just watching the kids watch the parade.

I hope you all had a SUPER DUPER fourth o July!
